Sozish-e-dard-e-dil kise maaloom سوزش درد دل کسے معلوم

Mataa-e-lauh-o-qalam متاعِ لوح و قلم
Deeda-e-tar pe wahan kaun nazar karta hai دیدہِ تر پہ وہاں کون نظر کرتا ہے
Ab wohi harf-e-junoon sab ki zabaan thehri hai اب وہی حرفِ جنوں سب کی زباں ٹھہری ہے
Hum jo taareek rahon main mare gaye ہم جو تاریک راہوں میں مارے گۓ
Aaj bazar main pa-bajolan chalo آج بازار میں پا بجولاں چلو
Tere gham ko jaan ki talaash thi ترے غم کو جاں کی تلاش تھی

Allama Iqbal:
